about

‘I don’t intend to solve the world’s problems, I’m just here on a Friday night.’ That pretty well sums up this song for me, it just about being with friends after a hard week of work, and having a drink and being around friends on a Friday night at your place and telling them you love them.
The second verse is reflecting on a period of time I spent with spiritual people, summing up what you need to do if you find yourself on spiritual street.
The third verse is just the ‘trash talk’ that happens on a building site between all the tradies…. ‘I’m a sexual dynamo, a hunk of burning love’. It caught on and in the mornings
they used to call me, or themselves the sexual dynamo etc. Just that morning work site banter…. all that Hot nonsense chatter.

lyrics

I’m going down to the BWS,
where I’ll get my fill for the night,
and take it on home and down a couple of reds
and I’ll tell my woman she’s out of sight.
I don’t intend to solve the world’s problems,
I’m just here on a Friday night,
just hand me that Cabinet Sauvignon
and I’ll leave on the porch light for you.
Oh yeah - for you,

So I went on up to spiritual street,
where they, talk with the mystic tongue.
They buy coloured stones and read coloured cards
and they believe that they are the one.
Who knows you who reads you and who can tell you,
just what you need to get done,
If you want to go down that street you should,
believe you are the one.
Oh yeah
(Ohh Say where you going with that, you know it,
I’m just the Jungle Cat - come on)

Some people say that I’m a sexual dynamo.
A Honky Tonk Rock N Roll Man.
A Hunk a Hunk a burn’n love,
who knows you, and reads you can tell you just what you need to get done,
just hand me that Cabinet Sauvignon and I’ll leave on the porch light oh yeah.

Well come on.

about

Adrian Vivian VIC, Australia

I have written songs all my life, rarely sharing them.  I have lived each song, they document my life. When taking solace from everyday interactions, in these times I write, this process is pure bliss to me. In 2021, with a little help from my friends, I started recording my music again and becoming an independent artist. I hope my music will resonate with you, and in some way connect with you. ... more
